Ad-aware - Finds and removes the adware & spyware your system has accumulated surfing the WWW.

Bitcomet - One of the most popular ways to download large files is by using technology called Bittorrent. But to use it you need a bittorrent client, software that can download these files. Bitcomet is my favorite.

Mozilla FireFox - The Open Source web browser that’s changing the way people use the internet and luring users away for Internet Explorer - it’s easy to use, has more features, and is twice as secure as IE. Download it today.

Microsoft Office Update - If you, like me, are a slave to Microsoft Office then this website is a must. It operates almost the same as Windows Update but for the Microsoft Office Suite. I visit regularly.

Shareaza - my favorite P2P file sharing client.

SpamFighter - Spam filtering tool that will help keep spam out of your inbox.

Spybot Search & Destroy - Adware/Spyware removal tool, in the same vein as Adaware, with different options. Maximum PC recommended this over Adaware, but I haven’t made up my mind yet.

Windows Update - VISIT HERE REGULARLY! Security fixes, bug fixes, regular updates for drivers and applications - all here for the taking.
